After four years of innovative lineups, collaborative promotion and rammed events, London favourite club brand Eastern Electrics is taking the party to the next level, with an all-day, all-out, sunshine-fuelled party. That�s right, people � Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 is coming!

Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 is working with some very special collaborators, krankbrother and Black Atlantic, who each programme and host a stage. With Eastern Electrics programming the main stage � and three other stages still to be announced � this event celebrates electronic music�s most progressive and diverse music talent. There�s so much more still to be announced, but Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 is launching with a teasing taste of what�s to come�

krankbrother brings Nina Kraviz and Tensnake to the festival stage this summer. krankbrother�s ethos makes them perfect for Eastern Electrics Festival 2012; they bring quality programming, high production levels and an unmatched energy for making each party stand out � no two krankbrother parties are ever the same!

Singer, producer and DJ Nina Kraviz has been steadily rising through the ranks of house and techno�s finest. Focused and creative, her DJ style is energetic and emotional. It�s about building an atmosphere � making the experience one that will never be matched. Expect house and techno in all its forms, beautifully delivered to the crowd. Tensnake�s sound of the Hamburg underground combines disco, house and electro-funk. A renowned and in-demand producer, DJ and remixer, whose break as Tensnake came in 2010 with the release of the stunning �Coma Cat�, he has a deep love for the dancefloor.

Black Atlantic plays host to Joy Orbison and Julio Bashmore, having championed both acts since before they broke big. Joining the dots between the various strains of electronic music, Black Atlantic draws together pioneering producers and artists for unique performances, DJ sets and visual installations. Progressive perfectionist future bass star Joy Orbison recently played a storming Black Atlantic set. His house-infused bass productions make him a prime candidate for one of the most explorative sets of the day. Julio Bashmore is a definite man of the moment � an exponent of the new house-meets-bass sound, he�s a producer and DJ whose unique approach to the sounds he loves so much have made him super hot.

Eastern Electrics presents the main stage, with Jamie Jones, and Crosstown Rebels labelmate Maceo Plex looking to go big. An Eastern Electrics favourite, Jamie Jones is part of a new guard of house and techno DJs who resonate as artists, party people, DJs, and live acts. A true techno golden boy. With a groove-based house sound, and deep roots in techno (having previously produced as Maetrik) Maceo Plex smashed it last year. And 2012 is looking just as big for the man from Dallas.

Having launched in August 2008, Eastern Electrics has since hosted threeblock-rocking events each year. The brainchild of two of London�s most prolific and talented club personalities � mulletover promoter and pub owner Rob Star and FOUND and Hidden man Will Paterson, Eastern Electrics is renowned for high production levels and massive genre-busting lineups.

The move into a festival format was a natural progression � and one that was planned from the beginning. �From our first meeting in January 2008 we always wanted to make the transition to a festival format,� Will Paterson explains. �We�d each been promoting our own shows for more than 10 years, and were determined to progress to a larger event. But we explicitly wanted to grow as a brand and develop a relationship with our fanbase and with acts and labels before we made the move.�

Eastern Electrics has collaborated with the most creative labels and promoters, and has always been one step ahead of the game. With an explorative music policy and forward-thinking programming, the events have proved some of London�s most successful. High-profile guests have made Eastern Electrics an essential on the London party calendar, with Laurent Garnier, Maya Jane Coles, Anja Schneider, Actress, Virgo Four, James Holden, Martyn, Seth Troxler, Claude Von Stroke, Steve Bug, Shackleton, Ellen Allien, Matthew Dear, Justin Martin, Kode 9, Omar-S and many others having played to sold-out crowds.

It was only a matter of time before Eastern Electrics looked forward to their next step. It�s a beast that just keeps on growing, and Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 looks set to surpass everything that�s come before it.

To launch, Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 has a limited number of tickets at �19.92, an homage to the rave journey of its own Rob Star. Rob explains: �On July 25th 1992, I attended my first rave � Fantazia in Castle Donnington, Leicester. At the time it was the biggest rave ever held � with 25,000 people � but I�d told my mum I was going night fishing (well, I was only 14!).

�As I arrived, I felt at home; the anticipation of getting in, the buzz of chatting and dancing outside� it was magical! I already loved the music, but that day I realised what I wanted to do with my life � I wanted to put on parties like that one! Now, that dream is almost a reality, as we launch our first Eastern Electrics Festival, with some of house and techno’s most cutting-edge live acts and DJs.� These tickets won’t be around long, and are strictly limited to two per person, so don’t hang about!
