Manchester based 4-piece The Last Party will release their debut single ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ on April 16th through TLP Recordings.

Formed in late 2010 –  The Last Party have quickly gone on to become one of the hottest new bands in the country, earning support from XFM, Capital Radio & BBC. After only 10 gigs, The Last Party were invited to do an XFM session after a demo recorded in their kitchen ended up in the hands of Clint Boon (XFM, Inspiral Carpets), describing them as
“The Bastard Child of The Stooges & The Supremes”.

The Last Party’s broad sound, back-boned by punchy pop songs, touches on elements of Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound, The Doors, The Smiths & Tamla Motown and is delivered with the attitude & energy of the Rolling Stones in their prime – ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ is a perfect introduction into their world. In their first year The Last Party supported the likes of The Cribs, The Buzzcocks, The Charlatans & many more, ending their first year as a band by selling out shows in both Manchester & London. After the London gig, The Last Party were invited to record a track with producers Darren Lawson & Pete Maher (U2, The Killers, Jack White, The Enemy, Chaka Kahn) and so was born ‘Bonnie & Clyde’.

The Last party have just completed a video for Bonnie & Clyde, sending up the kind of talent-less shows that they abhor. The promo features their mates plus a few guest stars such as Ciaran Griffiths (Shameless, The Bill), Andrew Moss (Hollyoaks), Nigel ‘Wingman’ Clucas (Capital FM), Clint Boon (XFM, The Inspiral Carpets), Mary Coogan, & more – The filming took pace at various prestigious venues throughout Manchester and sure enough, the videos underlying message is causing a bit of a stir!

The Last Party will be visiting London on April 18th to play a showcase gig at the infamous Gold Dust club night, which is ran by Ben Mawson from Lana Del Rey’s Management team. This will then be followed up with dates at legendary club night ‘This Feeling’
A Full UK Tour is set to be announced later this month and will see the band travel the country throughout May/June.
