SUEDE, M83 AND THE WEEKND AMONG THE NAMES THAT CLOSE THE LINEUP FOR OPTIMUS PRIMAVERA SOUND 2012 IN PARQUE DA CIDADE

The lineup for 10th June, Primavera na Cidade, will be announced by the end of the month.

To the 50 names that were already confirmed, we now add the list of confirmations that close the line-up for the first edition of Optimus Primavera Sound 2012 in Parque da Cidade.

Most prominent are the presences of a re-formed Suede, who will revisit their remarkable trajectory, and French band M83, who come to attest as to why they are at the peak of their career, thanks to “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming” and hits such as “Midnight City”. This edition will also see one of the rare european concerts of Abel Tesfaye’s project, The Weeknd, live for the first time.

British band Chairlift, hip-hop veterans, Ultramagnetic Mc’s, led by Kool Keith and Spaniards The Right Ons are the last international confirmations for this year’s edition.
Portuguese band Linda Martini and a special performance of the StopEstra! round up the line-up for the main days of Optimus Primavera Sound 2012.
