Breton – Interference
aaamusic | On 11, Mar 2012
Fresh off their debut album Other People’s Problems, comes Breton’s single, ‘Interference’. Now let’s get this out the way off the bat; the possibilities for comparisons are endless – Friendly Fires and Metronomy sit very comfortably in the same electro-pop bracket as the South Londoners. There are also strong links to Mount Kimbie and James Blake in their innovative style. That is exactly what Breton bring to the table with this single, and indeed, their glitch drenched B-Side, ‘Plastic Boxes’. Already known for their audio-visual creations, the have something here that is both original, exciting and danceable. Watch this space, this is not the last you’ve heard of Breton.
