Due for release on April 9th to coincide with her UK tour, Laura Gibson will be releasing ‘The Fire’ taken from her critically acclaimed album ‘La Grande’, and it can be downloaded for free below. With this year’s South By Southwest festival around the corner, we’d urge anyone heading out to Austin to catch one of her three shows during the event. More information below.

Full of warmth, energy and Laura’s beautifully distinctive vocal, ‘The Fire’ is one of the more upbeat tracks on ‘La Grande’. Conjuring up colourful images of saloon bars and old music halls, its bluesy piano tinklings together with the catchy sing-a-long ending fully transport the listener to a bygone era.
