Introducing MissDavinaLee

The first single taken from the album was ‘Bedbugs’,
released last year and featuring Florence and the Machine’s harpist Tom Moth who created a stripped down, enchanting version of the track,
weaving together his intricate harp playing with frontwoman Davina’s sublime vocals. Having previously played in bands
together (including The Divine Browns, who were originally called The Dave Browns before being threatened by a punk band
with the same name) after a chance meeting in a record store,Davina and Tom toured the acoustic circuit being labelled ‘anti-folk’
by promoters and never quite fitting in, before taking a break in 2007.Shortly after, Tom had the chance to join Florence’s band and Davina
went on to form missdavinalee but they continued to throw ideas back and forth, albeit mostly from other sides of the world due to Tom’s new
touring schedule.

main stages next year I’ll eat my cardigan” – Richie Vernon, Infadels DJs
