The Red Lapels are brand new onto the music scene, reintroducing the new wave sounds of the late 70’s and mixing them with the best of the indie bands today puts them in the running to compete against some of the great up and coming bands of 2012.

‘Wayaya’ is the debut single the band have released, giving audiences an extensive taste to the sound on their debut EP, a mix of the earlier sounds of Scottish indie band The View and the early foundations of The Police. Fusing a feel of that summer festival atmosphere we all love with the best of your dad’s birthday party give The Red Lapels a good foundation for the start of something special.
