Benjamin Francis Leftwich announces huge tour
aaamusic | On 01, Mar 2012
Benjamin Francis Leftwich will be hitting towns and cities throughout the UK on a huge 29-date October tour.
Following his recent run of UK shows, he will be spending the Spring stateside as he heads to SXSW, followed by an extensive US and Canadian tour. He’ll then be back over to this side of the pond for festival season in the UK and Europe prior to this massive October tour, then straight back to the US, Australia and New Zealand for the last months of 2012 and to see in the new year.
Following the release of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm’, we are able to reveal that Ben has managed to find time in his busy touring schedule to head into the studio to record new material that will be released later this year – more details coming soon. Ben recently completed a short UK tour and played his biggest show to date at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire with a full band, who he will be bringing with him on his October tour. Speaking of the sold-out show, The Times commented, ‘Even with the guitars turned up, the poetic sensitivity of the man showed no signs of slacking.’ Ben will be returning to London with what promises to be a spellbinding performance at KOKO on October 24th.
