Live At Leeds: First Line-Up Unveiled

LIVE AT LEEDS

First bands announced including Example, Marina and the Diamonds, Ladyhawke, The Subways, Turbowolf, I Like Trains, Spector, Los Campesinos! and many more

 

We are once again very pleased and excited to announce Live at Leeds Festival 2012. Now in its 6th year the festival takes place over the bank holiday on 4th May to 7th May.

Rebranded this year to The Live At Leeds Weekend, it has quickly become an institution in the UK festival calendar. This year featuring the following: The Unconference on the 4th May. Saturday features the Live at Leeds Festival (one wristband 100 bands, 11 stages, 9 Venues) while Saturday will also host the return of the Millennium Square shows. Sunday’s hangover music event with BBC Sound nominee Stooshe playing the Cockpit brings the weekend of live music to a close.

The Unconference will feature a series of guest speakers, panel and workshops which is being organised in partnership with Leeds University, Leeds Metropolitan University and Leeds College of Music.

The actual weekend ends with the second Live At Leeds football tournament, hosted at Goals Leeds. Current champions the Pigeon Detectives will return to defend their title.

Example will be playing a separate ticketed event on the Saturday of Live at Leeds Festival with support from Wretch 32 at Millennium Square.
