Following on from the success of their recent single “Can’t Go Dancing When You’re Gone”, which saw the band receive BBC Introducing support from Tom Robinson“Great track!”, Artrocker, NME and BFBS Radio, and their highly successful “Bayonet” release earlier in 2011, Damn Vandals release their debut EP – The Beautiful Mind EP – which is also Record of The Week on BBC6 Music Breakfast show with Shaun Keavney in January ’12.

Their debut album is also due for release in June 2012.

The distinctive and powerful vocals of lead singer, London’s Jack Kansas, have already drawn comparisons ranging from Ian Curtis to David Bowie, from Billy Idol to The National. Oxford’s Frank Pick provides the jagged guitar riffs that epitomize the dynamic, taut, post-punk rocker’s sound along with Adam Kilemore Gardens from N. Ireland on

bass and Chris Christianson III from Sheffield via Switzerland on drums.

The London based band, who have been together for just 2 years, have already received support from BBC6 Tom Robinson, Artrocker Radio, Q Radio, Amazing Radio, Total Rock Radio, BFBS and Radio2XS to name but a few with their first 2 single releases.

They are now busy preparing for the highly anticipated release of this their debut EP which showcases all 4 immensely talented band members – it delivers, and certainly doesn’t disappoint. This will be followed by a UK tour, an expected busy summer festival season and their debut album release.
