Joel Bailey Unveil Single & London Show

One man band, Joel Bailey releases his foot stomping debut single ‘Diamonds & Dirt‘ on 17th January 2012.
Written by Joel Bailey and producer Matt Perkins ‘Diamonds & Dirt‘ gives a first glimpse of Joel’s soulful voice and unique playing style: vocals, guitar, kick drum, hi-hat and snare drum all at once.
‘Diamonds & Dirt’ will be released on iTunes and will be FREE to download from Joel’s website, where you can also catch his video blog “The Toilet Tapes” (acoustic performances from his bathroom).
Beginning as a drummer at aged 9 then progressing to guitar, Joel brings a rhythmic approach to music making, welcoming influence from his hero’s: Bill Withers, John Lee Hooker, Bob Dylan and Art Blakey along the way.
Joel has been honing his craft with performances across London including an appearance alongside ‘La Clique’ at the Roundhouse, a slot at the Paradise Gardens Festival and numerous showcases at Rough Trade East. Last year saw Joel’s song ‘Fake Tattoo’ win the Shure Creative Award judged by Paloma Faith.
