Mutiny Mutiny is a Seattle based art rock band. In style they’re similar to bands like Slint, Unwound, Jawbox, Sonic Youth and Mission Of Burma.

The trio comprises: Jason Dean (guitar), Jenn Schmidt (bass) and Marc Mazique (drums). All three contribute to the gritty vocals.

 

Their single The Damage Is Done is taken from their debut album Constellation released on Secret Frequencies.

 

With its typically energetic and distorted guitar sounds, this track possibly doesn’t offer much we haven’t heard before from Mutiny Mutiny. This is an explosive and chaotic post-punk sound, perhaps not completely original but with a good hook and a great deal of noise.
