PLACEBO announce release of ‘Live At Angkor Wat’ album exclusively via iTunes
aaamusic | On 12, Dec 2011
On the 7th December 2008, PLACEBO began their 2 year ‘Battle For The Sun’ tour, by playing an incredibly beautiful semi-acoustic show for MTV EXIT at the UNESCO world heritage site of Angkor Wat in Cambodia and becoming the first ever rock band to play at the 12 Century temple.
For the first time ever, fans will be able to download the album ‘Live At Angkor Wat’ exclusively via iTunes. The download also includes a 10-Page PDF Art Booklet, featuring photographs taken from Brian Molko’s private collection.

MTV EXIT is a campaign about freedom — about our rights as human beings to choose where we live, where we work, who our friends are, and who we love. Most of us take these freedoms for granted, but hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world have had these basic human rights taken away.
