Outfit Announce Debut UK Tour For February 2012

Liverpudlian quintet Outfit have announced details of their first UK tour in February 2012. Following on from their biggest gig yet at Cargo this week, the band will play a one-off London show for The Line of Best Fit’s One’s To Watch in December and then the 7-date run of regional shows in February.

Outfit recently revealed an emotive video for their debut sold-out single ‘Two Islands’ on Double Denim. The video was shot and edited entirely by the band themselves in their former home which inspired the song. The intention was to challenge themselves to make ‘Two Islands’ a wholly singular, personal vision in every aspect.

Having recently eloped from their Wirral environs to London, Outfit are currently working on new material for an EP. Recalling elements of Arthur Russell, Deerhunter and Caribou, Outfit are fast becoming the dearly beloved of the likes of The Fly, Abeano, NME and Q.
