Hmm. Rutland 3 piece Centre Excuse should fill me with murderous rage. Everything’s in place, haircuts, annoyingly pretty singer who desperately tries to emote through a serviceable, upper middle class voice, superfluous synths over clipped, compressed guitars that an ASDA playlist compiler would call punk, and lyrics that try and laughably fail to be uplifiting, but for some reason, I can’t bring myself to hate it. I sure as shitting blimey can’t bring myself to like it, but for some reason, this just doesn’t seem to warrant an emotional reaction either way. So for that reason, it’s got a high chance of being utterly enormous. I’d say unfortunately, but that would imply I have any feelings whatsoever concerning this band.
