No stranger to touring, Sam’s a seasoned musician and has performed with Tom Baxter, Duffy, Paloma Faith and Dani Sicilliano. Sam is also a member of the Owiny Sigoma Band and wrote and vocalled the latest single release, in addition to this he has also just concluded a nationwide tour as the main support to KT Tunstall.

Influences on “The City And I” were plentiful, including a writing trip to New York City and Sam’s collaboration with local Kenyan musicians in Africa and London for Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings. The record also features Damon Albarn and is out now getting national airplay.
