Limozine – Twenty Greatest Hits

The funny thing about ‘Twenty Greatest Hits’ is that it seems an amalgamation of my record collection: the kind of scuzzy, sleazy, sneering “rawk” where you can hear the beer-soaked leather jackets. With a catchy, punky riff in the vein of a heavier Hanoi Rocks, and vocals caught between early Alice Cooper and Iggy Pop, Limozine let the audience know exactly where the music stands. There’s no artsy-pants moments, the whole track is built around the opening riff and once we hear half the chorus we can already guess the rest of the song, but damn it isn’t half fun! It’s not exactly life-changing, but it’s shakin’ your bad ass and moshing to loud rock n roll played by dudes who obviously love what they do, and it would be no disgrace on your part if you enjoy it as well.
