Manchester psychedelic scene stalwarts, The Electric Stars, have joined forces with indie film crew Cosmic Joke to produce a bizarrely brilliant video for new track I Want You.

The video, shot on a shoestring budget in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, follows hot on the heels of Cosmic Joke’s work with breakthrough indie bands Secret Pilot and White Heath.

Director Alex Taylor said: ‘The band wear their influences on their sleeves – harking back to classic sixties psychedelic tracks whilst making them their own. With its references to The Wicker Man and Andy Warhol, I hope that the video is the perfect compliment to the band’s sound’.
