ARCANE ROOTS Release new single and 7” ‘You Are’ on November 21st/ UK Headline tour through November/Debut album recording begins in December
– The single ‘You Are’, released on November 21st, will come on limited vinyl with new song ‘Habibty’ (full length) on the B-side. You will also get a free download of You Are (radio edit), Habibty (full length) and You are (acoustic).
– It is the follow up to the Radio 1 Zane Lowe ‘Next Hype’ and Dan P Carter ‘Mauler’
– Debut album recording starts Dec 2011 for early 2012 release

ARCANE ROOTS will be releasing the brilliant new single ‘You Are’, from their debut ‘Left Fire’ EP (out now) on November 21st. A very limited 7” with brand new song ‘Habibity’ on the b-side (and a ree download of all tracks AND an exclusive acoustic version of ‘You Are’), It will be the last single to be taken from the bands debut release and it follows up the Radio 1 Zane Lowe show ‘Next Hype’ AND the Radio 1 Rock Show Dan P Carter ‘Mauler’ single ‘In This Town of such Weather’, that was released in July. . The band were also recent contributors to the Kerrang Magazine Nirvana ‘Nevermind’ covers album. The band opened up proceedings on the CD with their reinterpretation of ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’, being the only unsigned band on the whole CD.
Live wise, ARCANE ROOTS follow up recent support shows with Young legionnaire and a sold out headline Lexington show in July, as well as a summer of world beating sets at both Sonisphere (where they were watched by the likes of Corey Taylor and Mastodon) and Hevy festival (where they played with the likes of The Bronx, Dillinger Escape Plan and Lower Than Atlantis) with a November full UK headline tour. The band will play over 12 shows across the UK, including their 2nd only London headline date, on November 17th at The Barfly, a show not to be missed on any account. In terms of support, ARCANE ROOTS are bringing over their friends and musically likeminded brothers ‘22’ from Norway for ALL UK headline shows.
The band have also already performed at The Camden Crawl 2011, at an acoustic in-store show at the Vans store on Carnaby Street in May, AND played a special Kerrang Awards show at The Garage in Islington with Las Vegas major label act, Escape The Fate. ARCANE ROOTS have also recently been swept up by Sony/ATV publishing.
