Daniel Pearson is a Yorkshire born rock country singer-songwriter from Leeds whose debut album Satellites is due for release on 16^th January, 2012. He’s reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen, Ryan Adams and Bob Dylan.

 

Wishing Well, the lead single from this album, is a soft, simple but atmospheric number. It has an uplifting, joyous gospel style with gentle vocals steadily driven by guitar and electronic loops.

 

This is a warm, pleasant, emotional song which is impressive and has a very distinctive and personal style that’s timeless. It’s well crafted and familiar with a curious mixture of confidence and vulnerability. Though fragile, it has a natural tenderness and honesty.
