YOU ME AT SIX ANNOUNCE LONDON MARCH 2012 TOUR DATE
aaamusic | On 23, Oct 2011
YOU ME AT SIX, who stormed into the charts at number 3 with their third album ‘SINNERS NEVER SLEEP’, will release second single ‘Bite My Tongue’ on November 28th. Featuring good friend Oli Sykes from Bring Me Horizon, the dark anthem showcases the band’s heavier side.
Produced by Garth Richardson (Biffy Clyro, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and recorded at the famous Sound Factory studio in Los Angeles, ‘SINNERS NEVER SLEEP’ sees YOU ME AT SIX exploring their most mature sound to date extending the band’s scope wider than ever before. Heavier tracks such as Radio One A listed lead single ‘Loverboy’ and new single ‘Bite My Tongue’ merge seamlessly into the hook-infused melodies of ‘Jaws On The Floor’ and ‘Reckless’. Whereas ‘No One Does It Better’, ‘Crash’ and ‘When We Were Younger’ sees the band a little quieter and more introspective.
Reinforcing their crossover from underground heroes to mainstream contenders, YOU ME AT SIX have also confirmed their biggest headline tour to date. Culminating in London’s Brixton Academy on April 2nd, the tour sees the band playing big venues in almost all major cities.
