Son of Dave unveils surreal new video for upcoming single ‘Ain’t Nuthin’ But The Blues’

Ain’t Nuthin’ But The Blues NEW VIDEO:

One man blues sensation Son of Dave has unveiled a new video for his single ‘Ain’t Nuthin’ But The Blues’, released 31st October on 7″ vinyl and digital.

The video, filmed in East London, stars Son of Dave, a Remington Portable Model 5 typewriter, Jessica Hynes and a stuffed cat. Son of Dave is currently in the middle of a UK tour, and he arrives in London this Thursday at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen.

‘Ain’t Nuthin But The Blues’, was originally recorded for his Steve Albini produced album ‘Shake A Bone’ that was released back in 2010.

Son of Dave was tempted back into the studio to re-record the track with Jimmy Hogarth, (Paolo Nutini, Amy Winehouse) this time with a band in tow. The new version of ‘Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues’ sees Son Of Dave’s lo-fi sound expanded and built upon with full horn section, bubbling Hammond organ, handclaps and a Stax style rhythm section.

‘Ain’t Buthin’ But The Blues’ is currently being offered as a free download from Son of Dave’s website.
