ahab Announce Bellowhead tour support dates

ahab are a London based quartet with a folk based Americana sound. Having built a nationwide live following via two singles and UK wide touring, the ‘kmvt’ EP is the result of recent recording sessions with the legendary John Leckie (Stone Roses, Muse, The Coral, Radiohead). Lead song Wish You’ has already been receiving radio play from long term Radio 2 supporters Simon Mayo and Bob Harris, both of whom have been fulsome in their praise for the band:
“ahab is the real deal….top-notch UK Americana featuring tight four-part harmonies.”
Simon Mayo
“I loved ahab’s terrific performance at Cropredy festival. They are blistering live….alt-country edge and sheer class.”
Bob Harris
Currently on the final leg of their own UK tour, which culminates with a headlining London show at the Old Queen’s Head in Islington on 3rd November, the band will then be special guests of leading folk big band Bellowhead on their 18 date UK tour (see full list below).
Two songs from ‘kmvt’ are available to stream here:

“I’m full of thanks to everyone that’s making this possible – from the band, to the Radio 2 guys, to Bellowhead and most of all the people that are buying tickets and the record. It’s a great opportunity to be in this position and I’m very grateful for it.”
Callum Adamson – ahab
“I’ve seen Bellowhead three times now and their set seems to become more audacious and energetic every time. They are premier league musicians and it’s an honour to be opening for them on their UK tour.”
Dave Burn – ahab
“We want people to come away saying ahab and not Bellowhead. We want them to say ‘how have we not heard of them?’ We mean to steal the show!”
Seebs Llewellyn – ahab
