The Wild Mercury Sound is a London-based quartet including Benji Compston (Vocals, Guitar), Johnny Lillis (Guitar), Jonny Allan (Bass), and Ashley Cooper (Drums).

The four musicians are still teenager but from the first notes of their first single you’d think they’re experienced and mature. Miss Frost is an intense and penetrating ballad about the relationship between Compston and an ex-girlfriend. It starts delicate and sorrowful, then grows and grows in a crescendo of rage and energy.

Raw, powerful, and grungy, Miss Frost is an excellent debut for the young Londoners. Complete with the b-side Itchy Skin and a Radio Edit, Miss Frost is out on 10th October on Hearts & Minds Records.
