This year has already seen the release of “Visiting Hours of a Travelling Circus”, the debut album from Northern Irish alt-rockers MOJO FURY, which has been lauded by all corners of the rock music press during its release in May: iTunes ran the band as ’Single of the Week’, Rock Sound as ‘Band of the Week’ and features in Front and Kerrang magazines are out in June. Artrocker (‘Album of the Month’), Kerrang, Big Cheese and Rock Sound were all lavish in their praise, and BBC Radio 1, NME Radio, XFM, Total Rock and more have been playing out cuts from the album.
Touring with Oceansize and ASIWYFA, and stand out performances at festivals like Sonisphere, 2000Trees, Live At Leeds, In The City and Brainwash, has enhanced their rapidly growing reputation as one of the UK’s most intriguing and exciting bands.
Now the band are able to announce that they will be main support on Amplifier’s UK tour in December. The dates are as follows:
4th December – Nottingham, Rock City Basement
9th December – London, Islington Academy
11th December – Manchester, Academy 3
12th December – Bristol, Fleece and Firkin
It was also announced earlier this week that Mojo Fury have received three nominations in the Northern Ireland Music Awards for Best Live Act, Best album and Best video alongside the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar and LaFaro.
To coincide with all this, the band have unveiled a brand new track titled “Grounds” which is free to download from www.mojofury.co.uk
