Brazilian Lucas Santtana announces first ever UK headline show and new single

Brazilian electro-acoustic pioneer Lucas Santtana has announced a new single to coincide his first ever UK headline show at Favela Chic, London on 1st November. The single, ‘Amor em Jacumã’ is taken from his debut UK release ‘Sem Nostalgia’ that was released through Mais Um Discos at the end of August.

Described by UNCUT as “Beck meets Tom Ze” and “rare, original & brilliant” by Drowned in Sound, Lucas Santtana is one of Brazil’s most interesting, dynamic and experimental singer-songwriter-producers.

Working with different musical partners, including former Ambitious Lover front man Arto Lindsay, and using samplers, pedals, filters and other conventional and non-conventional recording techniques, Santtana has created a haunting, disorientating and captivating work.

‘Amor em Jacumã’ is set for release 14th November, the B-side to which shall be ‘Who Can Say Which Way’.
