Looking ahead to an unmissable calendar date, Red Bull Music Academy has announced the third
annual CULTURE CLASH, coming to London’s Roundhouse on Friday November 11th 2011.
Four crews from different corners of bass music go head-to-head at CULTURE CLASH, each hoping to
win over the crowd in a series of hard-fought musical battles.
Last year’s showdown saw Skream & Benga, Soul Jazz Soundsystem and Goldie’s Metalheadz
(including Andy C, Shy FX, Storm, and MCs GQ & MC Justyce) pitched against one another with nothing
but turntables, mics and some serious decibels at their disposal. But, it was Mikey Dread and Ras
Kayleb with their Channel One Soundsystem who earned themselves the rowdiest audience response
and took home the trophy.
On November 11th Channel One return to defend their title, lining up against three other heavyweight
crews and soundsystems on a night that will showcase the depth of UK bass across 2011. But who will
compete on the night?
Culture Clash is part of a series of a global series of events and festivals put together by
Red Bull Music Academy.
