Forever The Sickest Kids to play October UK tour

Forever The Sickest Kids to embark on UK headline tour next week

The Texas fivesome are back to tour the UK in early October on what is set to be their first UK tour in over a year.  FTSK, who have previously toured with the likes of All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls and 3 OH! 3 will be joined by British metalcore band Glamour of the Kill as main support along with Decade and last but not least Action Item opening up the show.

Pop rockers FTSK are known for having an up close and personal relationship with their fans and have stated this as one of their goals for 2011.  The band are hoping to reconnect with a group of fans that have been missing them for over a year now and already have plans in place for behind the scenes footage and special in store performances.

2011 also sees the release of a new self titled studio album which the band admits almost happened by chance.  After following the success of their debut release ‘Underdog Alma Mater’ in 2008, with the mini EP ‘The Weekend: Friday’ in 2009, FTSK and producer David Bendeth realised that the next batch of songs they had produced were too good for another mini EP.  Thus a new full length album was born.  The band spent the next year writing 6 more new tracks and perfecting their signature pop rock sound to form ‘Forever The Sickest Kids’.

Marc adds. “The writing process really brought it together on this album and I think the five of us are really fired up to get it to all our fans this year.”

Glamour of the Kill, who released their debut album ‘The Summoning’ earlier this year are also eager to get back out on the road.  Singer Davey Richmond says. “We’re really excited to be main support for the FTSK guys, playing live is what its all about and hopefully we’ll get to play to some new people who haven’t heard of us before.”
