KONG frontman announces new project

While KONG continue to work on the follow up to 2009’s Snake Magnet album, front-man Magpie aka Jon-Lee Martin has unveiled details of a brand new project:
Then Thickens.
As a band this is as far removed from KONG as possible and shows a whole different side and personality to Jon-Lee Martin.
A series of lo-fi recordings are currently online at thenthickens.bandcamp.com while the track Ellie, Rebecca is available as a free download here:
Then Thickens also have a handful of live dates over the coming months:
