Experimental echoes, Sweet and Touching at every stage of the album
Valediction this song starts off with an electric guitar being pluced slowly. The guitar becomes more fuller when there are two notes being played. The song is really touching and this is really a grate opening song. The listener is probablly in a trance and in a better place by now. Walking Song this song starts off with a guitar being played with a slide in a country style. There are some really nice acustic drums played to fit. The vocals are really smooth and fit in well. The simplicity is really good and its walking its own path which makes the listener just drift away with the help of the piano. May-Queen Girl this song starts off with the similar guitar slide sound. This song has more grove than the previous one. It has the same drums as the other song. The listener is taken into a trance that is similar but different than the previous one.
A Hymn For The Old Salt this song starts off with a echoed organ chord effect which is being acuminated with vocals and beautiful lyrics. The song is then halfway brought forward with an acoustic guitar being plucked. There is a lullaby feel to it that use lots of different instruments and that is really a nice feel. Mastodon this song starts off with an continuation of the previous song. This sounds like part two. It starts off with a band of mashing instruments together. Then later the music is really starts to take off, but as soon as you realize where you are the electric guitar effects makes brings you into a trance quite unreal. The listener find himself into another dimension different from anything usual.
It’s a long life this song starts off with an echo effect played by an electric guitar and synthesized guitar effects. Then the song gets more into a grove. This is accomplished with the country feel that the drums vocals and electric slide guitar is creating. The song is really a grate addition to the other experimental tracts there are. Man Turns To Sunshine this song starts off with an echoed piano effect that is accompanied with a brass effect. This is again more experimental and sweet. The listener is drifting into another dimension, which sounds more real now, for its frequency. Little Words this song starts off with a piano effect being played. Vocals and sweet lyrics accompanied the song really well and make this feel like a continuation of the previous song. The way the piano gets all echo is just grate. I Tried To Picture Us this song starts off with an acoustic guitar being accompanied with vocals that also get a piano accompaniment. When the drums come in the song gets a tempo lift which is really nice. The song is really grate and more groovy and structured than the rest. Especially the way the brass and the overall song just rocks out. Entirely this song starts off with an echoed plucked and strummed guitar and piano being played at the same time. The song is really sweet and it uses all the right effects. When the vocals come in the song feel to get more complete as it progress goes by. The end is there and the album seams a life away when it started, which I like due to life going by too fast.
