MODEL SOCIETY – Systematic

The London quartet Model Society have a traditional punk rock feel, quintessentially British. They’re powerfully led by Danny Clare’s vocals, Stephen Kelly’s strong guitar work, Antoine Richert’s loud bass and Sammy Wilkinson’s frantic drumming.
This tightly performing electro indie band gives a ferociously energetic, inventive and crazy live performance. They’re a good group, confident and trashy in an exciting way.
Fans of The Stranglers, The Smiths & Sex Pistols are likely to be keen to hear any new recording from Model Society.
The band successfully captures images from every day life in their catchy, satirical lyrics, making them earthy, realistic and well structured. There’s an interesting raw and edgy charm which makes them appealing.
Their debut single Systematic, released on State 51/Label Fandango on September 26th, 2011, follows a year’s hard work of hectic live performances to acquire a large and loyal following. That huge vitality and has been transferred to this great studio recording. It’s produced by Paul Tipler (Placebo, Idlewild). With its quirky and memorable lyrics, I’m in love with an android warrior, this is a fresh, sharp and gritty sound with many changes in tempo.
