Released 17th October 2011

Ice cool and calculated norwegian pop” Rough Trade

Frost arrive with their new single ‘The Woods’ released on 17th October 2011, via FrostWorld Recordings, with a showcase gig at The Lexington on October 5th.

Compromising of musical project duo, Femme Digitale Aggie Peterson and producer Per Martinsen (aka Mental Overdrive) Frost are a creative couple, currently living in the arctic town of Tromsø in Northern Norway. Between them they’ve dabbled in a variation of projects, such as staging art shows for babies, writing dystopian ‘transmedia’ novels, composing scores for silent movies, building sub-bass driven lazer installations and putting up stage performances with strange, blonde alter-egos. Together they make cool synth-pop with analogue warmth, and songs about life, love and changing the world.

Following their first single ‘Parade’, sophomore single ‘The Woods’ sees Frost mix up their trademark electronics with live drums and sitars, with Aggie’s vocal taking on a more powerful and direct role. Creating a haunting, dream pop song, encased with floating vocals, unmistakable synth melodies and pulsating beats.

Released on October 17th via FrostWorld Recordings, Frost will be in London between September 15th and October 15th, which will include a one-off showcase gig at The Lexington on October 5th.
