Modular’s new singles imprint, Club Mod, is today delivering its first sonic boom. ‘Osaka’, by 120 Days, is a brooding, baggy acid beast, much like the accompanying video, created by Australian design team Expialidocious.

‘Osaka’, with remixes by Sidwho? and Diskjokke, will be available in digital and 12” format on Oct 3rd (AUS/UK/EU) and Oct 4th (US).
120 Days are a 4 piece from Oslo who released an acclaimed self-titled record in 2006. Their debut album took them all around the world – to America, where they signed with Vice Records, and to Japan, where thousands of fans knew their names. In the time since, aside from “lucid dreaming and partying “, the band has been developing and honing a sound. This one-off single with Club Mod is the first taste of their new material.
Modcast #90 was brought to you by 120 Days, revisit it here.
CLUB MOD
Club Mod is a new endeavor by the Modular Recordings family. A series of digital and 12″ single releases aimed at some kind of dancefloor, Club Mod acts as one foot under the strobe and one in the future, an avenue for one-off releases with acts we’ve recently fallen in love with or those whom we’ve long time admired. It is an eclectic, roughly monthly series in the name of dance.
All Club Mod artwork was lovingly created by Fergadelic.
