New Album Career Culture out October 11 on Science of Sound Records

This brand new video for “On Your Side” is from Madison’s electro-psych-folk band Icarus Himself. Don’t let the intro fool you–this video is not a typical gushy romantic short. Says The A.V. Club, “Without letting the cat out of the bag, it looks like they managed to find a group of guests who are fairly good at looking stunned.”

“On Your Side” is the first single from the band’s upcoming album Career Culture, to be released on October 11th on Science of Sound Records. The band’s sophomore full-length is a sonic cinema, drenched in the influences of artists like Kurt Vile, Deerhunter, The Who, and David Bowie.

On October 3rd, the band will be releasing the second single “Wake Up” for a free download and for 24 hours the album will be available to stream in entirety.
