Praise for Lisa Hannigan:

‘‘Everyone’s a little bit in love with Lisa’’ – Daily Telegraph

“Enticing, playful and familiar…she’s a different woman” NME

“Compelling…offers proof that delicate doesn’t have to mean unbearably twee” – Guardian

“Sensational…Expect Hannigan’s star to keep on shining brightly” Independent

Lisa Hannigan has announced details of a UK tour for November, to coincide with the release of her much-anticipated second album, ‘Passenger’ (October 10). The nationwide trek will kick off at Birmingham’s St Pauls on November 19, before taking in Norwich, York, Glasgow, Salford, Bristol and Brighton. The tour will conclude with a date at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on November 30. Tickets go on sale this Friday (September 23) at 9am.

News of Lisa’s live dates comes as she readies a new record, ‘Passenger’: the follow-up to her Mercury-nominated debut, ‘Sea Sew’. The album will be preceded by the exhilarating first single, ‘Knots’, which sets up an altogether darker and more personal return for Hannigan. Songs were written across Dublin, Brooklyn and West Cork (as captured beautifully on the album’s map of a cover), before being produced by the acclaimed Joe Henry; who has previously worked with the likes of Ani DiFranco, Solomon Burke and Loudon Wainwright III. And so emerged ‘Passenger’ – a genuine coming of age for Lisa Hannigan.
