Captivating alt-country singer Lindi Ortega can’t get enough of good old Blighty. After playing various UK festivals this July as part of Brandon Flowers’ band, she will head back across the Atlantic in October to play a string of dates, including two solo performances and five shows supporting Irish folk singer James Vincent McMorrow.

Lindi Ortega’s debut UK album ‘Little Red Boots’ is released on October 24th , through Last Gang Records. Written by Lindi Ortega and produced by Ron Lopata and featuring current single ‘Little Lie’, this frank and personal LP covers a wide spectrum of country music, from honky tonk to the classic Nashville sound and demonstrates her versatile vibrato.
Mojo said of the album: “Johnny Cash chickaboom, Duane Eddy twang, and Ortega’s voice cutting like cheesewire, every word kicking the beat and the story both,” and Q said: “Singing away her demons gives Ortega’s songs a gritty honesty, and they deserve to be loved.”
