NEW VIDEO FOR ‘FOR THE ONE’

Following a stunning support slot for EMA in London and an intimate headline show at The Old Blue Last, Van Pierszalowski’s project WATERS have unveiled their surreal, eerie and slightly twisted video for their single ‘For the One’ .
The brainchild of director Allen Cordell – who is no stranger to the bizarre and disturbing having directed videos for Beach House and Cloud Nothings – the video delves into the ever-obscure world of dreams where absurd and inexplicable events occur. A demon barber, heads that morph into alien creatures and a collection of weird and wonderful human beings in trippy situations are just some of the things to be seen here. Honestly, seeing is believing.

Out on City Slang, ‘For the One’ sees Pierszalowski take a dramatic step away from the lighter, folk-pop of his former band Port O’Brien and into a stronger, more impassioned grunge-tinged sound spilling out an anthemic chorus that has taken the blogosphere by storm over recent months.
