DOG IS DEAD ANNOUNCE DETAILS OF NEW SINGLE

After a summer playing festivals up and down the country, Nottingham five-piece DOG IS DEAD have today announced details of a one off single ‘Hands Down’ set for release on Halloween, October 31st. Produced by David Kosten (Bat for Lashes / Everything Everything) , “Hands Down” will be available to purchase on limited edition 7” and a digital download. The single will also feature the b-side “Burial Ground”, which was produced by Richard Formby (Wild Beasts). Details of a forthcoming video for the single are currently in the works – watch this space for more news.
DOG IS DEAD recently announced details of their biggest headline show yet at Rock City (1900 cap) in their hometown on December 17. They also have two gigs coming up in the next few weeks in London. They’ll headline Club NME on September 16th and one at Camden’s Barfly on September 15th.They’ve also just recently confirmed a headline tour as well as a support slot on upcoming Bombay Bicycle Club tour, which begins on September 30th at Brighton Dome and ends on October 7th at Manchester Apollo.
After appearing at several festivals this summer, you can still catch the band at Bestival next weekend.
The band are currently in the studio working on their much-awaited debut album, which is currently slotted for spring 2012 release.
