THE MISTRESS – MIXTAPE

Internationally successful artist Jay Sean returns with The Mistress, a mixtape he has created especially for his fans. Available for download NOW, from http://www.facebook.com/jaysean, the Vibe Magazine-endorsed mixtape is available for free.

The lead track, “Where Do We Go,” recalls the likes of highly successful crooners Brian McKnight and Babyface, with an edgy and unique swagger that only Jay himself could bring.  The Mistress also features appearances by notable hip-hop heavy hitters Lupe Fiasco (“Say Yeah”), Tyga (“Sex 101) and Birdman (“Love”).  Building his musical repertoire with this release, Jay Sean proves he continually produces great music that appeals to his fans, keeping his style fresh and noteworthy.

Undoubtedly, the number one British-Asian music star of all-time, Jay returned to the UK over the weekend to headline the BBC Asian Network Mela – his first Mela appearance in Britain for 4 years. A unique homecoming performance in front of his local crowd, he wowed fans with exclusives from forthcoming album Freeze Time, tracks from The Mistress and hits such as Down and Hit The Lights.

As well as working on Freeze Time, Jay has been preparing for a massive 19-city tour in the US with Joe Jonas which kicks off today in Boston.  Renowned for his live performances and used to playing to huge crowds, he recently performed on X Factor India to approximately 200 million viewers and sold out four shows, sponsored by Bacardi; “Like it Live Hardrock Cafe”.

Jay Sean’s new album Freeze Time is due later this year.
