Punk garage rockers, Turbogeist, are hitting the road for their first full UK headline tour, kicking off at The Rainbow in Birmingham on 07 September 2011. Set to leave audiences firmly shaken and stirred in a frenzy, The Acid Bath Virgin UK Tour will hit 11 UK, finishing in Manchester on 24 September.

Turbogeist, playing a fast twist on The Replacements and The Misfits, and singing furiously about addiction, girls and beer, are renowned for their explosive and energetic live performances. They have shared the stage with the likes of Trash Talk, Beatsteaks, Japanese Voyeurs and Fu Manchu, and they also played major rock festivals this summer in the UK, including Sonisphere and Hevy.

Turbogeist are a latter day garage punk band from London comprising of; Jimmy Jagger (guitar and vocals) Luis Felber (guitar and vocals) Josh Ludlow (drums) and James Dunson (bass). With an infectious aggression, accessible guitar hooks, and down and dirty riffs, Turbogeist fuse the punk rock attitude of The Bronx with the B-movie party punk of 80’s Matchbox B-Line Disaster, breaking the rules and challenging the hardcore scene.

“I’d like to think we bring something new to the musical table.” explains Josh, sticksman. And that they certainly do, with Jimmy in agreement, “We just want people to enjoy themselves at our shows.
