Imelda May to release special edition ‘More Mayhem’

Imelda May will release “More Mayhem” a special edition of her gold-certified album (200 000 copies sold to date), “Mayhem”, on September 12th. The special edition will include three new tracks – “Roadrunner”, “Gypsy” and “Blues A Calling” plus Imelda’s previously unreleased cover of Patsy Cline’s “Walking After Midnight”. “More Mayhem” will also include remixes of Imelda’s tracks – “Inside Out” and “Proud and Humble.”

The Times said of the new single – “Roadrunner had vocals that flowed from May as fast as her husband’s hurricane paced surf guitar rhythms.” The release of “More Mayhem” comes after a fantastic year for Imelda – including a sold out tour of the UK, a US tour with Jeff Beck, performing for the Obamas, duetting with Lou Reed and much more. The Dublin-born singer’s unique sound has propelled her to new heights in the States; “Mayhem” was recently released in the US and hit number one in the New Artist category in the Billboard charts!
