This EP takes Smith’s distinctive larger-than-life performances to an even grander scale, using the studio as an instrument to weave a multitude of sounds into rich sonic textures. But there’s careful orchestration under the surface: couched in a patchwork of sounds and cut-up samples is a plethora of pop sensibilities. Featuring various versions of the album track as well as remixes by Ten and Lee J. Malcolm (Vessels), “Small Fires” showcases the ever-compelling songwriting and sonic dexterity Juffage has to offer.

The EP is released on 7th November via London label Function Records (Maybeshewill, Shield Your Eyes, Cats and Cats and Cats, Nitkowski). Juffage now plans to tour the UK and Europe extensively from October.
