STUART PENDRED

EXQUISITE NEW ALBUM AGNUS DEI OUT OCTOBER 3

‘When Pendred sings, it’s not just with his voice…it’s like his soul is in charge.’ – TIME OUT

Stuart Pendred is a true performer and no stranger to sharing a stage with celebrities and bright lights.  His singing career began when he sang the alto-line with the singing company at Bedford Congress Hall Salvation Army.  Since then his voice has dropped and his career has risen, broadening to encompass acting as well.

Yet it is his deep, rich, soul-filled voice that continues to move people.  Monday October 3 sees Kingsway releasing Agnus Dei, the brand new album from Stuart Pendred.  It’s an album unlike any other, mixing hymns from the past with more recent songs, alongside some of Stuart’s own compositions.  Together they reflect a remarkable journey of faith, delivered with power, sensitivity and some of the most luscious arrangements you could hope for.  With songs in both English and Italian, Agnus Dei is something profoundly different.

Agnus Dei showcases Stuart’s skill as a writer as well. Each of the five original tracks is powerful, and some try and tackle some of life’s hardest of themes. Sempre Qui (Always There), for example, was written when a friend of Stuart’s was dying of bone cancer.

Encouraging hope within the darkest times… Agnus Dei does that and so much more.
