After being tipped as one of NME’s ‘Top 25 New Acts You Need to Hear’ this week, Austin Texas’ LOVE INKS are streaming a brand new track online now. The catchy new gem ‘Be Brave’ is taken from the forthcoming limited edition 7” release ‘Rock On’/’Be Brave’, out on September 12th through Italian label Hell, Yes!

Coinciding with Love Inks’ first ever UK tour next month, the 7” also includes Love Inks’ lo-fi, sweet vibed, pop rendition of 70s classic ‘Rock On’ by  Dave Essex and will be available on a super limited run of 300 aqua coloured vinyl as well as black, making 1000 available altogether.

LOVE INKS “Be Brave” by HellYes
Focussing around musical duo & married couple Sherry LeBlanc and Kevin Dehan, Love Inks have already built quite a following in the UK with their last single ‘Blackeye’ winning the fan-voted BB6 6Music Rebel Playlist, the album getting great reviews and NME regularly singing their praises.

Their self-recorded debut album ‘E.S.P.’ was released earlier in the year, also on Hell, Yes!. The combined sound is minimalist dream-pop; imbued with raw emotion, sexuality, and splashes of electronic colour. Focus is placed primarily on the voice, which is direct and honest and real. No frills, tears through extravagant side roads, or indulgent solos necessary. The recording process was drawn out on a piece of paper in schematics before recording with the concept being simply: the less digitized, the better.
