Set up and shot in a mere hour and a half (yes, really!) you can now catch a glimpse of the rather swift video shoot for Hyde & Beast’s first official single ‘Never Come Back’, out August 8thon Tail Feather Records.

Although it tracks the band and crew throughout their day shooting the video in Newcastle, this footage is far from generic. Beautifully put together, it reflects the raw and retro feel of their first video for ‘(and the) Pictures in the Sky’.

From setting up the shoot to standing around having a sneaky cigarette and a natter, you can see how the wonderfully chic video for ‘Never Come Back’ came together.

Hyde & Beast’s debut album ‘Slow Down’ is out on August 15th. Oozing with psychedelic rock’n’roll, the duo – made up of The Futureheads’ and Golden Virgins’ drummers Dave & Neil – recorded in Sunderland at Beast’s own studio churning out a song each day. After realising that what they were working on had potential, they set up Tail Feather Records and decided to reveal what they’d been working on to the public and we’re rather glad they did!
