Dark, relentless and thickly laden with dirty, heavy bass, “Princess You’re A Test” sees Norwich 5-piece Bearsuit take a turn to the dark side. As the fourth single from their recent album The Phantom Forest (released on Fortuna POP! earlier this year) “Princess You’re A Test” is an altogether darker proposition. Guaranteed to set the indie-disco dancefloors ablaze, the song delves into the mysteries lying await in the phantom forest. The Phantom Forest was produced by Gareth Parton (Go Team) and has scooped reviews in the likes of Rolling Stone, NME, Drowned in Sound, Clash Magazine, Artrocker, Vice and Rock Sound. The debut single from the album ‘Please Don’t Take Him Back’ won Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6Music Rebel Playlist. Bearsuit have also been championed by DJs including Huw Stephens, Rob Da Bank, Phill Jupitus, Marc Riley, Tom Robinson, Gideon Coe and John Kennedy on XFM.

As well as touring the UK in recent months, the band were invited over to SXSW in Austin, Texas, by Huw Stephens to play a showcase for him with the British Music Embassy and The Guardian. They also played at this year’s Primavera festival in Spain and Liverpool Sound City.

Bearsuit are about to embark on their first tour across mainland Europe, stopping at the Contempopranea and Razzmatazz festivals in Spain as well as Sweden’s Cosy Den festival among others.
