Effusing sharp edgy piano pop and rock, Mathematics is the latest electric single from Cambridge’s hottest young band Isaac’s Aircraft.
Fresh from winning the Best New Indie Rock Band Award at the publicly voted for The People’s Music Awards and claiming first prize in the Kopperberg London Battle of the Bands, Isaac’s Aircraft are establishing themselves as regulars on the London music scene.

Produced by Gavin Monaghan from Magic Garden Studios, who has previously worked with Elbow, The Editors and Scott Mathews, Mathematics gives a taste for the bands forthcoming electric debut album.

With industry interest in Isaac’s Aircraft hotting up and a Saturday night main stage slot at Aeon Festival on the horizon, Isaac’s Aircraft are currently touring their acoustic album and are preparing for the release of their first full electric offering that will again confound our expectations.

By simply being themselves and not trying to act out a manufactured image or fit a specific niche, Isaac’s Aircraft have built a
strong relationship with a broad fanbase, leading to support slots in the UK and Europe with acts as diverse as The Zutons, The Like and Amy Winehouse, who also made a surprise visit to their recent gig at the Hawley Arms to see the band perform.
Having had airplay not just on indie and mainstream stations but also specialist outlets such as BFBS Rock show, Kerrang and Q Radio, Isaac’s Aircraft can rightly claim to be able to impress throughout.
In the studio Isaac’s Aircraft have sought to work with people who can bring something different to the music, whether it is unfettered indie producers such as Phil Watts, Paul Tipler (Stereolab, Idlewild, The Pipettes, Elastica) and Gavin Monaghan (The Editors, The Twang, Broadcast, Elbow) or the multiple Grammy-nominated classical expertise of Adrian Carr.
