Lozninger – Like A Snake

There are psychic sounds whose precise frequency comes to your ears like you’ve never heard it before. Lozniger surely knows how to use them, you’ll notice it if you listen to their new single Like a Snake, and you will have three tracks to appreciate them!
Like a Snake starts with a strong guitar accompanied by a simple and endless rhythm; a tired voice sings on it, restlessly screaming and shouting, and leads you effortless (but quite unsatisfied) to the end of the track. Then it comes The More You Lose… a beautiful ballad I can stop listening to; whose delicate and sweet melody captured me and drove me gloomily to the lyrics, stay out tonight, see you satisfied can drive my loneliness away, erase your mind, I’m so tired to fight, the more you lose the more you play…I just don’t understand why he has to be a monkey in disguise, but there must be a good reason.
The last track, Horse In My Room (seems like they really love animals and it makes me love them more), featuring Kirsty Andrews from Reflectiostack, might be one of those songs you have to listen to over and over again, so that you get the meaning of it all; is an obscure and disturbing ensemble of too many different sounds and voices overlapped, while a desperate call is repeated until the very end: just before you go away, don’t leave my light to shine away.
All in all they remind me about Radiohead, I had to listen again to House Of Cards when Horse In My Room was over, I felt like it was perfectly attached to it.
Maybe it means that they need to progressively approach electronic music, who knows, but I’m sure they’re going to do great things even if they don’t!
