Jim Noir – Rainbuns and Blank Ends

Jim Noir has been in the music business for some time and instead of trying to fight the illegal download system he has come up with his own solution. Join his “Noir Club” on his website (www.jimnoir.com) for £2.99 a month and you get exclusive material as it is released.
His new EP “Rainbuns and Blank Ends “consists of five songs. Noir’s style is indie-folk; it is lazy summer listening at its best. “One Note World” is the leading single from the EP. It is a smooth harmonious song that channels Simon and Garfunkel with a bit of a modern twist. “Smothables” is another irresistibly sweet song- with minimal accompaniment-Noirs falsetto is enough to carry the song. By the time last track “A pipe Called Clair Who Misbehaves” rolls around, Noir has abandoned lyrics and lets the dreamy folk melodies do all the talking.
