Brew’s latest split 10” record is an inspired mix of fierce sounds- a record that will satisfy even the most insatiable appetite for rock.

Opening with Kong’s impenitent, abrasive and ultimately fierce track Ribbons, this sets the tone for the rest of the record (and is incidentally probably the best track on the release). With an obscure and capricious sound this is followed by Shield Your Eyes’ Jessica, a post-hardcore tune that is bursting with noise. Whilst seeming to lack any discernable direction Jessica will take you on a mind-blowing musical journey. Added to this are The Fucking Tank with the progressive sounds of NWONWOBH and Castrovalvaand with In Our Prime, a violent amalgamation of sounds that cannot possibly be defined or enclosed.

This record is a well-formulated mix of sounds; it is loud, brash, abrasive and unapologetic. Not one for the mainstream.
